IOP PHP Therapist
Mountain Springs Recovery is looking for experienced IOP PHP Therapists to join our growing and motivational team!
The IOP PHP Therapist’s principal function is to work with a team of compassionate clinical staff to care for individuals suffering from addiction. The IOP PHP Therapist works with the clinical team in providing empirically based counseling services to clients both in groups, and individually.
- The IOP PHP Therapist initiates discharge planning upon admission for all assigned clients, and updates discharge plan weekly
- The IOP PHP Therapist facilitates comprehensive evaluation and diagnostic summary for assigned clients
- Facilitates multidisciplinary treatment planning and updates for assigned clients
- Individual sessions for all assigned clients (at least weekly)
- Group counseling, education and meetings as assigned
- Family/conjoint therapy as assigned
- Coordinates treatment objectives for assigned clients with managers and staff
- Supports aftercare program by meeting with alumni on an as-needed basis
- Ensures client records for assigned care load are comprehensive and complete
Requirements License and/or Certifications for the IOP PHP Therapist:
The IOP PHP Therapist must be licensed by the State of Colorado in counseling (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), LPC, LPCC, LAC, LSW, MFT, MFTC & CAC-III CAS
Must be comfortable with a caseload of 8-10 clients and 2 individual sessions weekly
Knowledge of ASAM
Knowledge of DSMS
Knowledge in evidence based, therapy Modalities
Experience:
- At least 2 years supervisory experience
- Knowledge of 12-Step Recovery Program
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws
- Previous experience in dual diagnosis with individuals and families and knowledge of 12-Step Recovery Program preferred
