Job Details:

• Addiction Counselor will provide assessment and participates in the treatment planning with clients and their families/significant others.
• Addiction Counselor will interview residents to obtain information concerning social history, treatment and other pertinent information.
• Addiction Counselor will plan and administer therapeutic treatment, behavior modification, and stress management therapy.
• Assist Clinical Director in the coordination of services for clients.

Requirements License and/or Certifications of the Therapist:

• Licensed by the State of Illinois in counseling.
• BSW, LMFT, LCSW, LSW, AMFT, LPC, LCPC, CADC, CRADC.
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification
• Valid Driver License
• Experience in a substance use disorder and Mental Health treatment setting
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws

• Previous experience in dual diagnosis with individuals and families preferred
